Amsterdam VC firm 01Ventures, an investor in deep tech startups, has appointed former Keadyn Ventures partner Ton van ‘t Noordende as its new CEO.
Today, we’re proud to announce we led the investment into Valossa, a groundbreaking Video AI company from Oulu, Finland with offices in Helsinki, Finland and representation in New York.
Valossa has built a video AI technology; Valossa AI, which understands video the same way a human does.
In keeping with our newly established tradition, we’d like to introduce our latest portfolio company, Teralytic. Teralytic have developed an industry leading all-in-one soil sensor and crop management dashboard for the agriculture industry.
Our ethos, as a fund, is to be as open and transparent as possible with everyone in the industry, especially the startups we are lucky enough to meet and work with. Not only do we feel this is a good way to do business but it’s just respect, plain and simple. With that in mind, we’ve decided to begin making public our reasons for backing our portfolio companies. Kicking off this series we go back to our first investment, Bibblio.
